  LANDFILLS
  • AGES has been conducting landfill studies since 1994. These studies have included the construction of monitor wells for groundwater sampling, vapor monitor wells, sampling programs for regulatory compliance, earth extraction for daily cover, leachate control systems, leachate sampling, and other work focused on regulatory compliance.
  • AGES has done work on the Fajardo, Naguabo, Luquillo, Culebra, Jayuya and Lares landfills.
 
  GROUNDWATER SLOPE DETERMINATION 
Combining ground surface leveling with groundwater level measurements, the slope of the groundwater level, and therefore, its direction of movement, can be determined.
